Shiho started playing piano when she was 2 years old in Japan and started competing at the age of 6 and won several prizes including alternate for President Concerto Competition at University of Arizona and earned Master of Music degree from University of Arizona. She enjoys playing solo, ensemble and accompaniment for soloists and has performed as soloist with Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Repertory Orchestra, Tucson masterwork Chorale and Pima College Orchestra and also in other various venues in Tucson, Green Valley, Phoenix and Japan. She especially enjoys performing with her 7 years old daughter Ayla who plays piano and violin and is multiple winner of the competitions and debut as soloist with Civic Orchestra when she was 6 years old. Other than music degree, she earned B.S. degree in Math (with minor in physics) from University of Arizona and B.A. degree in Law from Chuo University in Japan.
She has been teaching at Allegro Music School since 2012.
