Chiara, Violin
Violinist Chiara Ferrero is an active chamber and orchestral musician and has performed across the U.S.A. and Italy. Chiara has played assistant concertmaster and principal second violin in the Arizona Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed with the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and participated in a workshop with Larry Livingston at the University of Southern California. Chiara is a versatile artist who is devoted to sharing and inspiring audiences through her performances. In May 2018, she was featured in the new album released “Desert Sound” by Jacob Acosta. During 2018 she performed with the RCJ piano trio throughout Tucson. In 2017, she participated in masterclasses with Paul Kantor and Donna Fairbanks, and also entered the Concerto Competition at the Fred Fox School of Music both in 2016 and 2018. In 2015 and 2017, she took part in the Young Artist Concerto Competition and The TPYO Concerto Competition. Recently, she performed works by Shostakovich in the Anchorage Alaska Music Festival. Past teachers include Federica Biribicchi, Lee Roberts, Laura Tagawa. Chiara is currently earning her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music, where she is studying with Timothy Kantor.
During her free time, Chiara enjoys volunteering and tasting exotic and new types of foods.
