Are you going to play in the recital?
At Allegro, we are passionate about the importance of student performances. There’s simply no better way to motivate students and to gauge their improvement than to have them prepare for and participate in our recitals. That’s why we offer free recitals twice per year, and we go above and beyond for our students! We rent the University of Arizona School of Music’s Performance Hall, and hold over 30 hours of student recitals every May and December. Our piano students get the privilege of performing on a Steinway grand, and every student gets to perform for their friends and family in a top notch recital hall with professional sound and lights. The recitals are our staff, teachers’, and parents’ favorite times of the year! It’s immensely rewarding to see our first time performers conquer their fears, and our experienced students reach an even higher level of musicianship every six months.
*We’ve reviewed your surveys and feedback from the most recent recitals in May, and have made to following changes to make the next recitals even better. We hold these recitals for YOU and our goal is to make sure that you are 100% happy!
Eligibility Requirements The only requirements are that you are a currently enrolled student. If you are ready and willing, you can participate!
Scheduling for Siblings If you have multiple students enrolled and cannot attend multiple recitals, you may sign up multiple students on the same recital time. ie: You have two kids enrolled. One takes Guitar with Mike, the other takes Piano with Nico. If you can’t do both Mike and Nico’s recital, you may sign both students up to perform on Mike or Nico’s recital. However, both teachers will not be in attendance if you choose this option. Additionally, if you have one student who takes multiple instruments, you may also sign that student up for one recital slot for both instruments. ie: Your student takes Drums with Joshua and Piano with Nico. You may sign up for either Joshua or Nico’s recital and perform on both Piano and Drums. Both teachers will not be in attendance if you choose this option.
How to Sign up
All students will receive an email and text invitation to register for the recital. You can expect to receive this no later than October 1st. Please contact the office if you do not receive it.
Recital Dates: December 15th, 2019. February 1st, 2020.
