Allegro School of Music turns 25 next year, and we are celebrating this historic anniversary with an amazing, life-changing opportunity…
We have officially reserved the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY for a recital on June 26th, 2023!
How to Register
Unfortunately there is limited space for this event, and only 40 students will be able to participate.
Tickets will be on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, and students of any age or skill level are welcome to join!
**Registration will take place on Sunday, November 13th at our Foothills Tucson location (4641 N 1st Ave). We will begin selling tickets starting at 9am. We are expecting them to sell out quickly, so make sure to get there early!**
We will have refreshments and a unique photo opportunity for our Carnegie participants, so please bring your instruments and dress for photos on November 13th (keyboard and drums will be provided).
Cost
Tickets will cost $750 per performer.
This amount will cover the opportunity to perform and the following reception, as well as preparatory masterclasses, rehearsals, and performances.
Travel, lodging, and food expenses must be arranged separately.

What is your favorite part about taking lessons at Allegro?
I love playing guitar and music and general as it has been a part of my life since I was born. Being able to learn and improve with Allegro has given me many amazing opportunities to play for other people like friends or many more people is places like a recital. Allegro has helped me improve my music playing very well.
What are some of the skills you have learned in your lessons?
Finger picking, Picking patterns, Note reading, Chord structures, Power chords, Music theory, and Bar chords.
What are your musical goals?
To be able to take a piece of music I like and to play it for myself, friends and family, and many more people at recitals or talent shows.
Do you like playing in Allegro Recitals and performing?
Yes, I like to play for people and see people smiling with joy having a great time listening to music worked on by many different students.
Tell us anything you’d like for us to know about you!
I have been playing music from a very young age and played many instruments. In order of instruments learned it would be piano for over a year, guitar for 4 years and continuing, clarinet for over a year, bass clarinet, and bass guitar.

Am I eligible?:
Usually it’s best to have at least 6 months of lessons before your 1st recital.
However, if you are enrolled for less than six months and there’s room on your teacher’s recital and you’re excited to play, go head and sign up!

Brooklyn joined our family as a rescue–or did she rescue us?–when she was 10 months old from the Humane Society in La Crosse, Wisconsin. From day one, she has been calm, sweet, and always friendly to dogs, kids, adults, and even cats. She “grew up” hiking in Wisconsin and Minnesota and really loved romping in the snow. Moving to Tucson four years ago offered her brand-new trails and scents, and she loves it, although she’s still figuring out the dangers of cactus needles (ouch)! Now 10 years old, Brooklyn still loves walks but maybe her naps even more. When mom is out of town, she comes to her dad’s guitar lessons with John at the Eastside location and relaxes in the corner!
