2025 Summer Music and Dance Lessons!
How does summer work at Allegro?
Dear Allegro Families,
Now is the time that many of us are making plans for summer activities and vacations. Here’s what we have to offer you this June and July. We have great options for those who want to “Supercharge” their music and dance lessons and make a lot of progress, as well as flexible options for those of you who are going to be in and out of town. If none of these options work for your family please talk to us in the front office and we’ll see what we can do for you!
Current students who want to play or dance more get $55.00 Off! Deadline is May 31st!
Summer in Tucson is a great time to stay indoors and practice. It’s a great time to try out another instrument, or take additional lessons or dance classes and get more practice time in. We always have some times that open up in June and July, and we are offering those times to our currently enrolled students first.
If you add more lesson times or dance classes, another instrument, or another family member, we will give you a huge discount of $55.00 off! Deadline is May 31st for this discount!
We suggest that you contact us before May 15th, as many summer lesson times will be taken by others if you wait until June.
Are you planning on withdrawing this summer?
Most students who drop for the summer never start again. We’d hate to see that happen to you! 🙁 🙁
*Here are two great options for staying in lessons for June and July:
- You can schedule your absences for the summer and your account will be credited for makeup lessons. Every student gets 6 makeups per year. This is a perfect option for those who will be out of town for a few weeks, but still want to keep their teacher and time.
- We can pivot to remote lessons easily anytime you need.
*Makeup lessons and remote lessons are only available for private music lessons, they do not apply to group dance or group music classes.
Friendly Reminders:
Withdrawal Deadlines. The withdrawal deadline for June is May 31st. The Withdrawal Deadline for July is June 30th. Tuition will be billed on the 1st of the month and is non-refundable.
If you withdraw for the summer, you are giving up your day, time, and teacher. Many of our teachers are sold out from 2:00-8:00. Your lesson time and teacher will probably not be available for you in the fall if you withdraw for the summer.
If you withdraw for the summer you will lose much of the progress you have made. While a week or two off is a healthy break, students who do not take lessons or practice for extended periods in the summer will backslide and lose much of what they have worked so hard to develop.
We want to make sure that you have a great summer of music and dance with us. We’ll do whatever we can to help our students stay focused on reaching their goals. Please come see us in the front office if none of these options will work and we will see what we can do for you!

Rebel is the Pet of the Month!

Your Name
Vanessa Vath
Tell us about your pet and why he or she should be the pet of the month!
We got Rebel from the PACC just over a year ago and she quickly bonded with her new family. Her favorite activities are playing with her football, chasing birds out of her yard, getting the zoomies at bedtime and cuddling with her humans. We just love her so much!
Congratulations!
We are making a $100.00 donation to Barb’s Dog Rescue and sending you a $25.00 Petco card!
We are an Official Family Safety Plan Music and Dance School!

Glass Windows
While it is expected that older kids and teenagers will not want their parents to sit in on every music lesson, some parents may not feel comfortable with having their child in a separate room for a half-hour. To appease both students who wish for their lessons to be private and parents concerned about safety, we have installed windows on every single door so that parents can view their student’s lesson with peace of mind.
Office Staff
At our music academy, we require office staff to be present during lessons. Many other music academies have tight budgets and cannot afford the extra expense of employing office staff. In our opinion, this is not a safe practice and is irresponsible on the part of the academy. Our academy always has office staff present so that students are never left alone with teachers.
Background Checks
We require that teachers and staff members undergo extensive background checks. Our teachers are required to pass four tests: a National Offender Search, Statewide Criminal Background Check, National Criminal Background Check, and Social Security Number Verification. We view this as a necessary measure to preserve the safety and integrity of our academy.
Security Cameras
The safety of our students is our top priority, so we have security cameras in every single room. The precautionary program may be costly to the academy, but such a feature is worth it if it keeps our students safe and gives the parents peace of mind.
Open-Door Policy
Our school has an open-door policy for parents, which means that they’re invited to sit in on their child’s lessons. This should be something you look for when selecting an appropriate music school for your family.
