1. I am originally from Colombia (South America). I was born in Pereira, which is the capital of the state where most coffee comes from.
2. I have a preference for artsy movies. My favorites are Amelie, Youth without Youth, and The Fountain.
3. I like ballroom dancing. Last summer, I took an intensive course in Argentine Tango.
4. I enjoy playing Bach and Chopin’s music.
5. I am pursuing a DMA at the U of A in piano performance and a minor in Musicology.
6. I played the violoncello for about 4 years as part of a string quartet and a youth orchestra. I would like to take lessons again when I graduate.
7. My roommate is the Allegro School of Music piano teacher, Jamee Haddorff. We like to drink cappuccino, feed the birds, and go out for dessert to the Arizona Inn.
8. I love to swim, scuba dive, and ski.
9. My favorite flowers are orchids.
10. I speak French and I dream about being in Paris and the south of France someday.
11. My favorite novel is the Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell.
12. The only pet I have ever had was a baby owl that my dad picked up from our neighbors yard. He had an injured wing. We named it “Cachis,” and he liked to eat rice.
13. I love clothing very much. However, I never buy any because my mom keeps my wardrobe updated.
14. I spent my whole summer painting my house.
15. I don’t have a facebook page.
