Congratulations to our 500 AMAZING Music and Dance Recital Performers!

We were BLOWN AWAY by our amazing music and dance students in recitals this May/June.
500 students performed for over 1600 audience members in our May and June recitals which spanned across 3 weekends!
It was a huge effort from our teachers, staff, and students to pull off this epic event, but we are also energized, inspired, and can’t wait for the next recitals!
The talent, creativity, courage, and hard work that was on display from our students was truly magnificent.
We would also like to extend a big thanks to the families who have supported Allegro.
We know you have choices for where you take music lessons and dance classes, and we do not take you for granted. Without our students and families, we are nothing.
We love our students!

Over 80 amazing dance students performed for a sold out audience in our first ever Allegro Dance Recitals at the beautiful Eller Dance Theater

Thor is the Pet of the Month!

Your name
Elizabeth Cazesuz
Tell us about your pet and why he or she should be the pet of the month!
The mighty Thor – more like the mighty derp. Thor the Dog of Thunder has a personality as big as his size (85 lbs). Thor’s biggest foe is his own tail, he spends much time chasing it in impressively fast circles. He loves climbing playgrounds except when there is children around, which he is scared of. He is a recent beginner obedience class graduate, and his all time favorite song is Squabble Up by Kendrick Lamar. He is quite the actor and is often caught on camera pretending to be sad to get attention from his humans. There is nothing he loves more than getting pet and snacks. He is an excellent coworker to his mom who works from home part of the week, though he sometimes snores so loudly while she is in meetings that she has to mute herself.
Congratulations!
We are making a $100.00 donation to Barb’s Dog Rescue and sending you a $25.00 Petco card!
We are an Official Family Safety Plan Music and Dance School!

Glass Windows
While it is expected that older kids and teenagers will not want their parents to sit in on every music lesson, some parents may not feel comfortable with having their child in a separate room for a half-hour. To appease both students who wish for their lessons to be private and parents concerned about safety, we have installed windows on every single door so that parents can view their student’s lesson with peace of mind.
Office Staff
At our music academy, we require office staff to be present during lessons. Many other music academies have tight budgets and cannot afford the extra expense of employing office staff. In our opinion, this is not a safe practice and is irresponsible on the part of the academy. Our academy always has office staff present so that students are never left alone with teachers.
Background Checks
We require that teachers and staff members undergo extensive background checks. Our teachers are required to pass four tests: a National Offender Search, Statewide Criminal Background Check, National Criminal Background Check, and Social Security Number Verification. We view this as a necessary measure to preserve the safety and integrity of our academy.
Security Cameras
The safety of our students is our top priority, so we have security cameras in every single room. The precautionary program may be costly to the academy, but such a feature is worth it if it keeps our students safe and gives the parents peace of mind.
Open-Door Policy
Our school has an open-door policy for parents, which means that they’re invited to sit in on their child’s lessons. This should be something you look for when selecting an appropriate music school for your family.

Thank you for the 5 Star Reviews

I am very pleased with the Allegro School of Music and Dance. My background is in music education and I have taught preschool through college for over 30 years. It’s a credit to Tucson that we have such a high quality music program that serves the whole city. I am grateful for their professionalism and excellence. Paul has been a wonderful teacher thus far for my six year old grandson. I am delighted that my grandson has a male music teacher as elementary education is predominantly serviced by females. Paul is a great role model with lots of patience as young boys can be a handful! We are working together to keep my grandson motivated and engaged as I believe music lessons for young children aid in their overall learning. ADDENDUM: I am adding a review of last night’s recital where my 6 yr old grandson played Old McDonald on the piano with his teacher, Paul. It was wonderful! The audience was packed and enthusiastic and cheering for everyone. We were all so proud to be associated with Allegro. Kudos, too, to Paul for managing a cadre of 6 year olds and up, for an extended period of time. Not only is Paul an amazing musician but a wonderful teacher as well. The kids adore him. Thank you for a great, heart- warming evening.
