Allegro’s instructors and staff are exceptionally talented and flexible. My sister takes guitar lessons, and in the two years that she has been a student at Allegro, her confidence and abilities have blossomed. I am grateful for the opportunities the school has provided her and highly recommend Allegro School of Music.

Coming to Allegro School of Music in 2016…
Meet our Voice and Piano Teacher, Kate!
Hi, I’m Kate, and I teach voice lessons and beginning piano. I came to Tucson in 2007 to serve with AmeriCorps, met my husband (boyfriend at the time) and then…I never left! I went to school in Rochester, NY for my undergraduate degree, and to Penn State University for my graduate degree, so I am super happy to live in Tucson, where I never have to shovel my car out of snow again! I have a poodle named Petey, a cat named Ally, and an 18-moth old toddler named Miriam. My reading these days consists mostly of “Brown Bear, Brown Bear,” and “Where’s Spot?” I just saw “Bridge of Spies,” which was a really great movie. The thing I love most about teaching at Allegro is working together with students and parents, and coming to work in a positive, supportive environment.
