Tell us about your formal education in music. I graduated from Messiah College in 2009 with B.A. in Music, Voice Concentration. I performed both Junior and Senior recitals in addition to accompanying many peers for voice and instrumental recitals.
Tell us about your professional performance experience. I have sung in several weddings, birthday parties, and the national anthem at sports events. I have also accompanied for weddings, high school musicals, and community and college opera.
What do you like to do besides playing and teaching music? I enjoy shopping, house projects, like painting a room, and just relaxing at home with my husband, kitty and ferrets 🙂
What are some of your favorite local restaurants? Hmm tough one…Jimmy Johns, Los Betos and Chipotle!
What are some of your favorite movies/shows and books? My favorite show is Mozart in the Jungle which now I must read the book! I’m also a big fan of Harry Potter and Bridget Jones novels. Avatar is one of my favorite movies too.
What is the coolest place you’ve visited? Las Vegas! Such pretty lights 🙂 I saw La Reve there and it was absolutely amazing, an incredible show with the fantastic music and acrobatics!
What is your favorite thing about living in Tucson? The sunsets, the weather and the blue, blue skies!
