Adam, Winds
Adam Nissenbaum is a double major in Music Education and Music Performance at the University of Arizona, and a member of the Trombone Studio. Though he focuses his studies on the trombone, Adam has many years of experience on the oboe, trumpet, and saxophone as a well-rounded wind player. When he’s not in a practice room, Adam can be found reading, writing, or in the kitchen. His favorite book is still “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss, and he is more than happy to talk about his favorite brownies! Adam is a Tucson native and graduate of Ironwood Ridge High School. He values time with his friends and family and is passionate in his love for music. With experience in wind bands, marching bands, knowledge of jazz, and the university’s own philharmonic, he is more than ready to demonstrate and teach the techniques necessary to be a successful musician in whichever fields you choose. His motto for life is the same as it is for teaching: “Being bad at something is the first step to becoming really, really good at something.”
