Kayla, Violin
Kayla began the piano at the age of 7 and violin at 8. Since then she has participated in school orchestras in middle and high school, honors regional orchestras and became a member of the White Mountain Symphony Orchestra at 14 years old. For two years, she was a member of the Seattle Philharmonic then returned to Arizona to attend Northern Arizona University. Kayla completed a Bachelor of Arts in violin performance, Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Certificate in Suzuki pedagogy at NAU. Kayla teaches strings and piano at Allegro School of Music, incorporating music theory and ear training using Music Mind Games in each lesson. She continues to hone her teaching and musical skills through workshops, research, and practice.
