Rachael, Piano
Rachael Radtke completed her bachelor’s degree in piano performance at the University of Arizona in 2019, studying under Professor Tannis Gibson and Dr. Rex Woods. In February 2019, she was the first place winner of the University of Arizona’s Michael Moore Competition for undergraduate pianists. In the spring of 2018, she was featured along with her sister in the U of A All State Host Concert. In the previous year, she and her sister performed as soloists with the Arizona Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Rachael, as a duo with her sister, won the University of Arizona’s Fred Fox School of Music’s President’s Competition and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artists Competition. She performed a program of solo and four-hand pieces for Saint Phillip’s in the Hills Rising Stars concert series and Valley Presbyterian concert series. Rachael’s musical pursuits are not limited to performing – she also enjoys teaching and has a growing studio where students play a wide variety of piano music including four-hand and pieces and duo sonatas. In her spare time, she enjoys a range of outdoor activities.
