Shuo, Piano
Shuo Pan, a native of China, is currently pursuing her doctorate in piano performance with a minor in music education at the University of Arizona with Dr. Rex Woods. She also studied the organ for two years with Dr. Pamela Decker. Shuo received her master’s degree from Ithaca College in 2015, graduating in piano performance with Dr. Jennifer Hayghe and with organ performance as her minor. During her undergraduate piano study at the Capital Normal University in Beijing, she received a full scholarship to study piano with Alexander Vershinin in Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as an exchange student for half of one year. In January 2017, Shuo was awarded honorable mention in the Professional category in the Debut International Piano Competition. As part of this honorable award, she performed at the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York City and also in the historic Ehrbar Concert Hall in Vienna. In the same year, Shuo attended the 42nd annual Classical Music Festival in Austria with a full scholarship. Shuo has performed as a solo pianist throughout the Europe, the U. S. and China. As an adventurous traveler and music enthusiast, she believes everything is possible in life.
